FREE UPC Bar Codes for Your Products!

If you plan to sell your products at a retail store, then you will need a UPC bar code on your packaging. Most retail stores won't carry your product if you don't have one. You can get your own bar code from GS1 US (formerly the Uniform Code Council) at a cost of $750.00, or you can get one from us for FREE!

TW Media Services will give you a FREE unique UPC bar code number for any title we manufacture for you (minimums apply). We will provide you with your UPC number so you can have your designer drop the bar code image into your art, or send us your files and we will place the bar code for you at No Additional Cost!

UPC Barcode Tip

If you are using PhotoShop to create your artwork, do not place the barcode image in this file. Photoshop rasterizes all content and this will create a poor and possibly unscanable image. The barcode should be a vector EPS image.

Instead, place your Photoshop file in a program that can handle vector images such as Illustrator, Quark or InDesign, and then place the EPS barcode graphic in there.

TW Media Services can place your barcode image in your file for you at no additional cost if you do not have this capability.
